Hush on this, mums the word! Apparently anyway. Square Enix has yet to say it exists but we know you are just holding out you clever little fellows and after last years spotting on a game developer’s laptop moment its safe to say a third Tomb Raider outing is very much on it’s way. It couldn’t have happened in a more stranger way, imagine if you will your sat on a train and you take a glimpse over the guy in fronts shoulder and happen to see a powerpoint on their laptop with “Shadows of the Tomb Raider” flashing on the screen. Well that’s exactly what happened last year and that’s pretty much all we knew.
Well it would now seem we have more proof, a LA based creative agency which have in the past worked with Ubisoft and Square Enix have released a imagine containing a logo and some concept art. The image features a look at the game’s official logo and early concept sketches for the game’s key art.
Here is Takeoff media’s take on these images:
“Through sketches and renders, we explored varying concepts for the Shadow of the Tomb Raider logo and key art. This process consisted of using the different pillars of the game as inspiration to accurately portray the brand.”
The game and the franchise was pretty much left out of this years E3 show with only a hint of we will hear about it later in the year. The game looks set to drop 2018! around the same time as the new movie which is due to release March next year.
