It turns out that Skyrim isn’t the only game that Bethesda is bringing to the Nintendo Switch. The publisher announced that it’s porting both the recent reboot of Doom and the upcoming shooter Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus to Nintendo’s latest consoled.
Doom which launched in 2016 will be available before the end of the year. And while the PS4, Xbox One, and PC version of The New Colossus will be out next month, it wont be coming to the Switch until sometime in 2018. The company also finally announced a release date for Skyrim on Switch: that’ll be available on November 17th.
Bethesda have also stated that the Switch port of Doom will have all the updates and DLC released for the original game except for the SnapMap level editor.
What has been announced is great news for Nintendo, which has always seemed to struggle with getting third-party games on its platforms. The announcement follows recent news that Rockstar will be supporting the platform as well, with an upcoming port of LA Noire.
