Modern Warfare 2 Remaster Won’t Have Multiplayer According To Charlie Intel

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is reportedly in the works – and apparently it doesn’t have multiplayer.

CharlieIntel sources have indicated Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is real after a listing for the game popped up on Amazon Italy for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One priced €19.99 with a 30th April release date.

CharlieIntel also reported that materials were sent to them from a Raven Software employee stated Modern Warfare 2 Remastered does not include multiplayer.

“The listing stated that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered would cost around $25, which is a lot lower than what Activision charged for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered in 2017. They launched that for $40 in June 2017. That game featured both single player and multiplayer. Having the price cut almost in half for the MW2 Remastered would support that the game is not the full game remastered.”

It seems we can expect Modern Warfare 2 Remastered before the release of Black Ops 4 this October, however re mastering arguably one of the most popular Call of Duty titles without multiplayer seems like a strange move on behalf of Activision.

Only time will tell, take everything with a pinch of salt until Activision officially announce it. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
