Pokemon is coming to Nintendo Switch

Okay everybody, the day has arrived, its official; Pokemon will arrive on the Nintendo Switch in November of this year. In a surprise announcement made by Nintendo they revealed the title of the game(s) as well as a trailer (which can be seen below). Pokemon Lets GO: Pikachu & Pokemon Lets Go: Eevee will hit our shelves November 16th.

The games are re-imagined versions of Pokemon Yellow which originally came out in 1998/99. The games also have two-player simultaneous play, as well as a deep connection with Pokémon GO, so fans of the hit mobile game will find even more to enjoy.

Each game returns players to Pallet Town, where you can once again begin your journey to become a Pokémon master; keep in mind only the original 151 Pokémon will be available. Catching your favourite Pokemon requires use of the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers, or the all new Poke Ball Plus.

With the Poké Ball Plus, you can also take one of your favourite Pokémon from these games for a stroll as you go about your daily life in the real world. The Poké Ball Plus even works as a Pokémon GO Plus when playing Pokémon GO.

Depending on which game you buy will determine who your partner in crime is and will tag along with you on your journey. I think i’ll be buying both!

I am so excited for this game, and the fact it will be coming out this year is too much to handle. I can easily see this being game of the year, move along Kratos.

Let us know how excited you are in the comments below.
