Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s Retribution DLC Detailed

Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s Retribution DLC Detailed
Activision have shared the first details for the Retribution DLC, which launches on PS4 next week. Like each of the game’s past DLC packs, Retribution adds four new multiplayer maps. Carnage is a “post-apocalyptic race track along the California coast”. Heartland is a new take on the Warhawk map from Call of Duty: Ghosts. Altitude is a “high-end, sky high shopping mall located on the edges of the universe.” And finally, Depot 22, is a three-lane map focused on close-quarter engagments.   As well as the mulitplayer maps, Retribution also brings the game’s Zombies mode to a close with its final chapter, titled The Beast from Beyond. This time, players are trapped in a “desolate military station on a distant ice planet,” where they’ll need to fight through waves of the undead and try to escape from Willard Wyler’s horror movies. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s ...

Modern Warfare Remastered is coming to PS4 as a standalone title

Modern Warfare Remastered is coming to PS4 as a standalone title
The remastered version of Call of Duty 4 is now going to be a standalone title — at least on PS4. Activision has officially announced that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will be available on Sony’s console on June 27th for USD $39.99. The game — which features the same story campaign and multiplayer maps as the 2007 original, but with updated visuals — was previously available bundled with special editions of last year’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. As of now, however, there’s no word on when the remastered version will be available to purchase on either PC or Xbox One. The publisher says that there will be “other platforms to follow” the PS4 launch. The next major Call of Duty game, meanwhile, takes the series back to World War II, and will be available on November ...

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered could be standalone game

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered could be standalone game
Currently, the only way to get the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remaster, Modern Warfare Remastered, is to pick up premium versions of Infinite Warfare. That might change soon, however. Since-removed product pages on GameFly spotted by CharlieIntel suggest that Activision might be planning to offer Modern Warfare Remastered on its own. A GameFly listing for the PlayStation 4 version of Modern Warfare Remastered has a June 20 release date, possibly suggesting PlayStation 4 is getting the release 30 days early. The original listing has since been removed. Activision has not confirmed this nor have they stated yet if or when Modern Warfare Remastered will be available separately.

Call of Duty: WWII may be available on November 3rd

Call of Duty: WWII may be available on November 3rd
It’s not official, but the stream of rumors and indirect information point in the same direction about the next Call of Duty: WWII is back. A leaked poster on Reddit would have advanced the release of this game before any official statement: November 3rd. In addition, the retailer poster also confirms that Call of Duty WW2 DLC is in the pipeline in the form of PlayStation-exclusive map packs, which will be available for the PS4 30 days ahead of any other platform, as is the case with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. You can check out the leaked poster below. While publisher Activision has yet to confirm a release date for the game (or anything else for that matter; the game exists only as a rumor for the time being), the timing at least seems plausible, ...

Is COD and Activision going back to it’s roots?

Is COD and Activision going back to it’s roots?
Something happened to COD around 2014, the franchise that placed its players in modern war engagements suddenly became a future shooter! The whole antigrav jumps and the many laser based fighting tools it looks like Activision is finally done and dusted with the setting. After three instalments and the bomb that was Infinite Warfare the trigger has been pulled with COD now going back to its roots. This isn’t some voodoo im using here and I certainly have not been reading the Tea Leaves again but Activion’s senior VP of investor relations Amrita Ahuja has admitted that Infinite Warfare “wasn’t the success we planned” One tracking company even claimed that it sold 50% less than Black Op’s 3 at launch. So will 2017 COD take us back to older war encounters, like Battlefield One did , ...
