Pokémon On Switch Could Be ‘Generation Eight’

Pokémon On Switch Could Be ‘Generation Eight’
The long awaited Pokémon game for Nintendo Switch is more than likely quite a long way away from being announced. Who knows, maybe we’ll see an official reveal for the game during E3. This seems unlikely as i believe Nintendo want to push the new Smash Bros game as much as possible. Although with new information that appears to confirm at least some information about the title. Posted online by Twitter user @raqueruu, these images below show segments from the Spanish edition of the Official Nintendo Magazine. The small section talking about Pokémon for Switch indicates that we will see the eighth generation of the series, and that The Pokémon Company are rethinking the saga to surprise fans with new mechanics. In addition to the extra pocket monsters, the Legendary Pokemon Rayquaza will also be available from February 9 to March 16. Players will be able to encounter the powerful Dragon-type Pokemon as a Raid Battle at Gyms. Rayquaza is the third Legendary Pokemon from Gen 3, following Groudon and Kyogre. Pokémon Go to get dynamic weather & brand new Pokémon

Pokémon Go to get dynamic weather & brand new Pokémon
Loads of new Pokémon are coming to Pokèmon Go this week arriving from the Hoenn region – however, that’s not the only big change on the way. Popular mobile AR game Pokémon Go will soon be aware of the real world weather around you, with a number of things in the game adapting. For example, if it’s raining outside, you’ll probably see more water Pokémon than normal. This change will also impact spawns of Pokémon from the previous generations too – not just the new Hoenn region monsters. The timing of the new dynamic weather system isn’t much of a surprise: the Hoenn Pocket monsters first showed up in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire which, if you remember playing, were also the first games in the series to feature changing weather in-game. Niantic stated in a recent blog post ...

Pokémon GO’s Latest Event Has Begun

Pokémon GO’s Latest Event Has Begun
Pokémon GO’s Equinox Event is now underway, and while some players are probably more interested in the double Stardust they can acquire, there are some other great bonuses that will become very useful to all players. The event is giving out special 2km eggs which can give you access to some rare Pokémon like Chansey, Larvitar and Mareep. If you battle in Gyms & Raids the Most important is Larvitar. Larvitar evolves into Tyranitar, and Tyranitar is awesome. While Chansey is super rare and both Chansey and Blissey are considered some of the best gym defenders, raid performance is much more important. Especially with Mewtwo coming you want as many good Tyranitars as possible. In addition the new eggs we are also getting new “Super Incubators”. The Super Incubator is a new type of ...

Check out The Walking Dead’s AR game – ‘Our World’

Check out The Walking Dead’s AR game – ‘Our World’
AMC have announced that it is partnering with developer Next Games for another Walking Dead mobile game. Next Games has previously made No Man’s Land. But this new game, Our World, is trying to get a piece of that Pokémon GO popularity. It’s an Augmented Reality game where players will walk around in the real world, fighting zombies. Sounds awesome, right? It is a little hard to get a grasp of what the game will be like based off of the initial trailer, seen below. We see players fighting zombies with real weapons, helped by CGI versions of show characters like Daryl and Rick. But what we don’t see is what the actual game looks like when you’re playing it, so it’s tough to know what the final product will be like. It has a lot of resemblance to the first Pokémon ...
