Rockstar have confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 will launch on PS4 & Xbox One on October 26th, 2018. The announcement was made on the official Rockstar Games blog where they apologized for the delay. The game was originally due out within Spring 2018, following an earlier delay from fall 2017. According to Rockstar, this new delay grants the studio extra time to improve the highly anticipated game. “We are excited to announce that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on October 26 2018. We apologize to everyone disappointed by this delay. While we had hoped to have the game out sooner, we require a little extra time for polish. Red Dead Redemption 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the revered Wild West game from the makers of Grand Theft Auto, has been delayed to spring 2018, Rockstar Games announced today.
