Ubisoft have revealed that they are releasing free content themed around Predator and it is coming to Ghost Recon: Wildlands today. The Jungle Storm update will introduce new cosmetics and a class based on the classic film, it also offers a limited-time mission where you square off against the Predator. Celebrating the 30-year anniversary of the original Predator film, the update will arrive for free on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The new Predator content will appear as an event for solo or co-op players, and while defeating it will be an extremely difficult task, you’ll earn cool new items like a mask with Predator vision. Ghost Recon Wildlands PvP ‘Ghost War’ beta open to everyone next week
The Ghost Recon Wildlands PvP mode that Ubisoft promised in March and detailed in July is almost here. A “stand-alone open beta” will begin on September 21 and run though until September 25, and will be available to everyone, even if you don’t own the base game. The open beta will be available to pre-load on all platforms on September 19. Ghost War will give players access to 12 classes (six in the beta) across three different categories: Assault, Marksman, and Support. Combat will take place on eight “large-scale open maps,” five of which will be in the beta, and newly-added PvP mechanics including suppressing fire and sound markers will also be supported, “to create a true military-strategic, team-based multiplayer mode.” A full release date of the new mode hasn’t been set, but it’s expected to be out sometime before ...

Ghost Recon: Wildlands New PvP Mode Coming Soon

Ghost Recon: Wildlands New PvP Mode Coming Soon
Ghost Recon: Wildlands has lacked any kind of formal player-versus-player mode since launch, but that’s set to change later this year with the release of Ghost War. Before it arrives, the new multiplayer mode will be tested publicly through an open beta. Ubisoft announced earlier this week that Ghost War will enter open beta on all platforms “later in the summer,” though it didn’t offer a more specific date than that. The full mode itself is planned for release as a free update that’s due out this fall. The new mode pits two teams of four against each other in a “deathmatch experience that builds on the tactical squad play from the main game.” Rather than simply play as your character from the campaign, you’ll choose from different classes to do battle on “large-scale, open maps.” Ghost War won’t play identically ...
