There are certain things in life that are just the way they are. Britain’s summer time is 90 wet, it will always rain at a music festival and the bus you really need will always be late and that is no different when a new Zelda game hits a nintendo console. But this time along with the new Zelda game we also get a new console, every Zelda game is stunning! That’s a simple fact and know matter how hard you try to put it down it will just be perfect in every single way and my friend Breath of the wilds is no different.
As always Link and Princess Zelda are central to the plot and it’s best I let the plot be written by some one else:
In the past, the many races of Hyrule lived together in harmony, the Sheikah’s blue aura providing life to the land, and everyone benefited from the Sheikah’s advanced technology. That all ended when a beast that came to be known as Calamity Ganon appeared. The Hero and the Princess attempted to stop the evil, but the Hero ultimately failed. As they helped the Princess see to the Hero’s injuries, the Sheikah, as a last resort, awakened an army consisting of four divine beasts and a massive amount of mechanical guardians, that they had created in secret. They managed to seal Calamity Ganon inside Hyrule Castle, but during the battle, the monster’s power turned their army against Hyrule, and out of fear, the King of Hyrule and his people banished the Sheikah from the land.
In the present, an amnesiac Link awakens from a deep sleep, as a mysterious female voice guides him to the now ruined kingdom of Hyrule. He meets an old man and learns that Calamity Ganon has been sealed in Hyrule Castle for one hundred years. Although trapped, Calamity Ganon has continued to grow in power, and Link must defeat it before it breaks free and destroys the world. Source Wikipedia
That give you an idea on the plot and now down to the nitty gritty, this game is beautiful, it holds on the small cartridge a masterpiece. Like a symphony this game rolls around beauty, experience and emotion and with the pick up and play of the Nintendo Switch you will really struggle to put it down and feel engrossed into the world of Hyrule 100 years later.
The aspect i love about this game is this, I see a rock or cliff edge in the distance and I like the look of it I can wander on over and pretty much climb it. I wanna use a camp fire and cook random ingredients again I can do it, everything I pick up can be used and trust me there is nothing like slapping a troll with a skeleton’s arm. It’s pure joy!
Zelda Breath of the Wild is Game of the year! Its 10 out of 10 , its the best game of the modern age! There is not a game developed on this latest generation of console that beats Zelda! If I could give it any more stars or score I would! I suggest getting a Switch or a Wii U and grabbing this beauty.
